Amber is such an honest to goodness miracle - it’s a gem that is almost light as air, existed with the dinosaurs in its first form (tree sap) and had a glow of its own. And then the ammonite captures your imagination with its pure symmetry and ancient beauty (my husband a famous ammonite expert agrees).
