These lux earrings showcase the legendary Sleeping Beauty Turquoise— one of the most prized turquoise varieties in the world. Named after the Sleeping Beauty Mountain near Globe, Arizona, this mine produced some of the finest, purest blue turquoise ever discovered.

A piece of history:

The Sleeping Beauty Mine operated for decades, becoming famous worldwide for its distinctive robin's egg blue turquoise with minimal matrix (the natural veining in turquoise). In August 2012, the mine permanently closed to turquoise mining, making authentic Sleeping Beauty stones increasingly rare and collectible. What remains of the original rough stones is diminishing quickly, making pieces like these true treasures.
