About Banded Onyx
Onyx is a variety of chalcedony — a microcrystalline form of quartz — formed in the gas cavities of lava. Its distinctive parallel banding develops as mineral-rich water deposits silica in alternating layers over thousands of years. Metaphysically, onyx is associated with strength, focus, and grounding energy.

As with all natural stone, this piece is entirely one-of-a-kind — the specific banding pattern and color distribution cannot be replicated.
