At one time, the Fox Turquoise mine was Nevada’s largest turquoise mine. This mine has been a source of turquoise since prehistoric times.  Fox turquoise ranges from forest greens to soft blue, but is generally recognized for its teal and green colors , found as veins and in nuggets.
