Material & Origin
Discovered in Kenya in 2016, Sericho meteorites are found in a strewnfield over 45 kilometers long with pieces ranging from less than one kilogram to masses as large as 500 kilograms. The olivine crystals are generally rounded and vary in color from gemmy green to orange, while the metal displays the classic Widmanstätten pattern beautifully.
Pallasites are stony-iron meteorites, relatively rare and distinguished by the presence of large olivine crystal inclusions. They represent less than 1% of all meteorite finds.
Authentic Kenyan Sericho pallasite. Custom orders available.
As with all natural meteorite specimens, each piece displays unique olivine crystal patterns, colors, and metallic structure.
